Life coach vs therapist: How are therapy and life coaching different?
There are so many connections between therapy and life coaching, it’s a bit like how scuba and freediving are similar ways of exploring the same ocean. I bring all my clinical experience as a psychologist to my life coaching practice, and vice versa, as we explore your identity.
You might have lived most of your life without properly understanding yourself.
With therapy, you explore your story and your childhood in a whole new way, so you really understand what made you who you are today. It starts with a clinical (medical) diagnosis, then focuses on reducing your symptoms and healing. It’s a journey of exploration that we do together, but the focus is entirely on you, without judgement. I am naturally a deeply empathic person, and I’m trained to provide you the space to explore ways of being that enable you to understand yourself so that you can be your best self.

Life coaching is a goal-oriented process where I work with you to build a vision of where you want to be, and make a plan to get there. In our life coaching sessions, we’ll set clear, achievable milestones together. I will work with you to reach your goals, with zero judgement.
